25.07.2010: A collegue here has imported 6 BMW R 100 GS and we can offer them for renting. The bikes have been completely overhauled, the owner is a former airplaine mechanic and has his own standards. Part of the bikes are Hepco - Becker boxes, plus an engine protection. More details on this page.
02.02.2010: These days, Air Madagascar has announced that the reduction on domestic flights for Air Madagascar international passengers has been raised from 30 % to 50 %.
31.12.2009: Happy New Year 2010 to all readers of my web-site. Today, it became known that the malagasy government plans to keep touristic visas for stays up to one month free of charge.
November, 11th, 2009: After Maputo I, II and Carlton, the representives of the four major political mouvements of Madagascar have signed an agreement in Addis Abeba on November 9th, 2009, in which the creation of a joint transitional government has been agreed upon. This transitional government is supposed to bring back constitutional order in Madagascar by organizing elections within 12 months. President is Andry Rajoelina, accompanied by the two Co-Presidents Dr. Emmanuel Rakotovahiny and Fetison Rakoto Andrianirina. Prime minister and chief of government is Eugène Mangalaza. Everybody here hopes that the new government is going to do its job well and that we can assume that the begin of the end of the crises 2009 has been reached.
October, 10th, 2009: After completely redoing our web site using the free CMS Joomla, translations from german into english and french have started. This work does not require retranslations of all text, but its verification and actualisation.
